Don Norman Answers: Your Top UX Questions
An exclusive online seminar featuring the father of "user experience"
Speaker: Don Norman
Have you ever wanted to spend an hour with the father of “user experience”? In this exclusive online seminar, Don Norman, co-founder and principal emeritus of Nielsen Norman Group, will answer your top questions on UX research, design, and strategy.
Here are a few of the pioneering moments Don has had in the past:
“A brilliant solution to the wrong problem can be worse than no solution at all: solve the correct problem."
“Any time you see signs or labels added to a device, it is an indication of bad design: a simple lock should not require instructions.”
“Good design is actually a lot harder to notice than poor design, in part because good designs fit our needs so well that the design is invisible, serving us without drawing attention to itself. Bad design, on the other hand, screams out its inadequacies, making itself very noticeable.”
